Proof lives in the field.
Project case studies are in preparation.
We are documenting recent boundary, staking and as-built work for publication here. In the meantime, follow our fieldwork on Instagram or ask us directly about experience with projects like yours.
From Field to File
The site goes in.
The data comes out.
Most jobs are completed in one to two weeks, and the part you see in the field is only half of it. How we work.
01
Scope & Research
We confirm what the project actually needs, pull the record maps, deeds and benchmarks, and lock the schedule before anyone mobilizes.
02
Field Capture
Crews measure the site with total stations and GNSS on documented control. Everything is checked and tied to the datum your project runs on.
03
Compute & Draft
Field data is adjusted, analyzed and drafted into clean deliverables. This is where most of the work happens, after the crew leaves the site.
04
Review & Deliver
Every deliverable is reviewed before it goes out: maps, CAD files, cut sheets and certificates, in the formats your team and your agency expect.
Why KEG
Chosen for the work, kept for the follow-through.
01
One team, field to file
The people who measure your site are part of the same team that drafts, checks and delivers it. Questions get answered by someone who was there.
02
Deliverables your team can use
CAD in your layers, certificates in your agency's format, cut sheets your foreman can read. We deliver to the standard your project runs on.
03
Clear scope before we start
You get a defined scope, schedule and price before fieldwork begins, and a direct line to us if the site turns out different from the record.
04
Built for your timeline
Most jobs are completed in 1–2 weeks, and we tell you early if site conditions threaten a date.

Common Questions
Asked before
every survey.
If your question is not here, call us. A five-minute conversation usually settles what a site needs.
See all questions →It depends on the parcel, the terrain, the quality of the public record and what you need delivered, which is why we scope each project individually. Describe the property and the goal, and we will come back with a defined scope and price before any work starts.
Most jobs are completed in one to two weeks from mobilization to delivery. Fieldwork is usually the shorter half; research, computation, drafting and review happen after the crew leaves the site.
It depends on the permit. Cities commonly ask for a topographic survey with a design submittal, a boundary survey for work near property lines, and certifications like height surveys during construction. Tell us what the city asked for and we will translate it into the right scope.
Yes, and we prefer it. We deliver in your design team's CAD standards and coordinate staking around your contractor's schedule.
No. The same crew that stakes a commercial site will mark the corners of a residential lot. Homeowner boundary questions, fences and additions are everyday work for us.
We are based in Studio City and work throughout Southern California. If you are unsure whether we cover your site, call and ask — it is a quick answer.
